stuck (my bad?)

Once upon a time in Santa Cruz, I got a van stuck in non-obvious mud. The picture below always makes me laugh because - A: I'm driving the vehicle, not pushing like those suckers - B: we were all very hungry at the time (somehow I find humor in this) - C: once a tow truck came to the rescue an hour & some later, the cafe we had been planning to feast at closed (leaving all but myself bummed on me).

Now, the only reason I became bummed (at all) was because I did not successfully park said van where I initially planned (I take pride in my ability to park large vehicles). Is there some lesson I should learn from any of this? Nah, don't think so.
